Health & Fitness Disclaimer
1. Not Medical Advice
Lukul Atelier is a strength training management and biometric tracking platform. The Platform, including all training plans, workout protocols, readiness indicators, biometric insights, RPE recommendations, and AI-assisted suggestions, does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this Platform should be interpreted as a substitute for professional medical guidance.
2. Consult a Physician
You should consult a qualified physician, sports medicine doctor, or healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program, training plan, or dietary regimen. This is especially important if you:
- Have a pre-existing medical condition (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, metabolic, or neurological).
- Have a history of injury, surgery, or chronic pain.
- Are pregnant, postpartum, or nursing.
- Are taking medications that may affect exercise performance or recovery.
- Have not exercised regularly for an extended period.
3. Assumption of Risk
Participation in any exercise or training program involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Muscle strains, sprains, tears, and joint injuries.
- Cardiovascular events including elevated blood pressure and heart rhythm irregularities.
- Dizziness, fainting, nausea, or dehydration.
- Aggravation of pre-existing conditions.
- In rare cases, serious injury or death.
By using this Platform, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your physical well-being during and after training.
4. Coach Guidance Is Not Medical Care
If you are working with a Coach through the Platform, the coaching relationship is a fitness guidance service, not a medical or therapeutic relationship. Coaches provide training plan design, technique recommendations, and performance monitoring. Coaches are not medical professionals unless separately qualified, and their guidance does not replace medical evaluation, physical therapy, or rehabilitation protocols.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Selecting appropriate weight, intensity, volume, and exercise variations for your fitness level.
- Maintaining proper form and technique during all exercises.
- Stopping immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other warning sign.
- Ensuring you are adequately hydrated, nourished, and rested before training.
- Communicating any health concerns, injuries, or limitations to your Coach.
6. Biometric & Wearable Data
The Platform may display biometric data from integrated wearable devices (including WHOOP, Oura Ring, and Strava) and user-entered metrics (bodyweight, RPE, sleep quality, readiness scores). This data is informational only and should not be used as a diagnostic tool. Wearable data may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. Do not make medical decisions based on data displayed in the Platform.
7. AI-Assisted Insights
The Platform may generate AI-assisted or algorithmically derived training recommendations, progression suggestions, or readiness assessments. These outputs are computational estimates based on available data and are not medical prescriptions. They should be reviewed critically and validated by a qualified professional before implementation.
